Will Simmons is a Meridian native and has been with Glover, Young, Walton & Simmons, PLLC since 2002. Prior to working with Glover, Young, Walton & Simmons, PLLC Will practiced in Gulfport, Mississippi with the firm of Franke, Rainey & Salloum for almost four years. Will graduated from Millsaps College and double majored in business and history. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1998. While in law school he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Moot Court Board.

Will’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation on the defense side. He has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts. A partial listing of the types of cases which Will has litigated include: medical malpractice; construction contract disputes; bad faith claims against insurers; motor vehicle collisions and real property disputes.

Will served as the secretary of the Lauderdale County Bar Association and treasurer of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association.

Will is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He is currently serving on the vestry of his church and works on several committees. Will also serves as counsel for State Games of Mississippi. In his free time he enjoys golf, reading and hunting.

Will’s wife, the former Edie King of Birmingham, is a teacher at St. Patrick’s Elementary School. They have one daughter, Cate.
